Undergraduate researchers Gabriel Lonuzzo and Emma Burdon earn NSERC USRA awards

Congratulations to KNL summer research students Gabriel Lonuzzo and Emma Burdon for earning NSERC USRA awards!

The Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA), provided by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), are intended to stimulate interest in research in the natural sciences and engineering. This summer, Gabriel and Emma are researching hydrothermal synthesis in producing semiconductor devices such as artificial synapses, which will make artificial neural networks more energy efficient.
